Slow down… slow down… slow down!!!! But really though, you should slow down when you’re eating.
We all get that feeling after a long, hard day, when we urge to just shove a plate or more full of food into our mouths and down our throats. We also all get into those debates with our friends or loved ones as to who can eat a stack of cookies the fastest, or who can down the most bottles of beer at a time… right? As fun as that all sounds and even though we may have the urge to fill our empty bellies as quickly as possible, eating fast can actually have an impact on weight gain.
